Opened in 2001, Sanctuary at Mercy Village exemplifies St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's longstanding commitment to seniors in the Blue Water Area and surrounding communities. The Village is non-profit senior community owned and operated by Trinity Senior Living Communities (TSLC). Located in the busy Fort Gratiot area, Sanctuary at Mercy Village is located on the hospital's Mercy Health Center campus offering access to physicians as well as outpatient medical services.
Sanctuary at Mercy Village offers a number of living options and services to area seniors and their families. Living opportunities include:
Independent Living Apartments - including one and two bedroom floor plans, fully-equipped kitchen, dual outlets for both phone and internet access and a healthy and vibrant community.
Assisted Living Apartments - including living quarters designed to assist the individual with their health needs. Twenty-four hour nursing care is available as well as access to full-service dining, social and recreational activities, 24-hour emergency response, housekeeping and scheduled transportation.
Mercy Terrace - offers a specialty care neighborhood for residents with memory loss and Alzheimer's disease.
