Family Medicine, like any other branch of medicine, has its own unique body of knowledge and training. This includes six areas of medicine - pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, psychiatry, community medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The family physician is also trained to provide continuing and comprehensive health care in the environment of his/her family and community, and to practice and teach preventative medicine. Through years of experience, the physicians of the Mercy Family Care Network are well-versed in all areas, and look forward to providing comprehensive care to you and your family.
